While in-person worship is suspended Central has moved to a weekly newsletter that is sent out on Monday to keep our members and friends updated on Central’s services, missions and ministry during the pandemic. Gifts for Boys

Methodist Children’s Home Society Christmas Wish List For many years the Central Congregation has been very generous in providing gifts for the boys at the Methodist Children’s Home in Redford. In past years, members would pick up a snowman ornament with a gift “wish” and bring the gifts to the church. The gifts would then be delivered to the Home. Socks & Underwear Drive

Hope Shelter Seats & Feets In the past, Central Church has prepared and served meals at Hope Shelter.  Since the start of the COVID-19 surge, Oakland County has been providing dinners for the shelter, and Baldwin Center and a local soup kitchen are helping provide lunches. December 4, 2019, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Advent by Candlelight is a special evening for women to become renewed and refreshed before the Christmas rush begins. This is an opportunity to relax and refocus on the season of Advent – a wonderful time of waiting and anticipation. In an elegant atmosphere, lit only by candlelight, guests are served a delightful dessert by a table hostess. 2019 Waterford Area Crop Walk

This year’s CROP Walk will be on Sunday, October 6th at 2 pm; registration begins at 1:30 pm. You can participate by gathering sponsors and walking one of the designed routes for either five miles, three miles or one mile.
