Central conducts membership classes 3-5 times per year and are 2-1/2- to 3-hour sessions. During the class, participants learn about the history and theology of the United Methodist Church, the organization of Central Church, and the many ministries and missions through which they can live out their faith. Upon completion of the class, new members are received into the congregation at a Sunday worship service (encouraged, but not mandatory).
