Sunday School
During worship on Sunday mornings, Sunday school is available for children aged kindergarten through grade 5. Children begin in worship and then are released to Sunday school after the Children’s Message. Central uses a United Methodist-approved curriculum to help children have fun learning about God, Jesus, and our relationships with one another.
Sunday School classrooms follow our two adult care provider rule. We make every effort to maintain two trained volunteers in each room.
Central’s Sunday school is a nut-free zone. If you have questions about Sunday school, contact the Director of Lifelong Faith Formation.
Nursery Care
Infants and toddlers can be dropped off before worship in the nursery, which is located in the east hallway of the main floor. The nursery is clearly marked with signage.
Central’s nursery is a nut-free zone. Nursery care is also available for many of Central’s events that happen outside of worship.
If you have questions about Central’s nursery care, contact the Director of Lifelong Faith Formation.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Central’s Vacation Bible School program helps children and youth/adult leaders to connect with God, connect with others, and change the world with Christ’s love through stories, science, crafts, music, snacks, and games. We invite children from our church and the community to enjoy an energetic and fun week of learning about God and connecting with others.
VBS is held one week during the summer, typically toward the end of June. For more information on Central’s VBS program contact the Director of Lifelong Faith Formation.
