Connecting with God
The church offers a number of ways to grow in your faith and connect with God, including:
- Weekly worship services with special programming at Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter
- Special services including weddings, funerals, and interment of ashes in Central’s Memorial Garden
- Many groups, studies, and opportunities to put faith growth into action.
Connecting with Others
- Members of Waterford Central church connect with others through worship, faith growth, volunteer work, community activism, worship arts, fellowship, and community events.
Changing Our World with Christ’s Love
Waterford Central has been an active part of the Waterford area community for over 100 years. Our congregation shares the love of Christ with others in the community through hands-on ministry, including:
- The Waterford Central Food Pantry
- Community events, including Rally Day, Trunk or Treat, a spring rummage sale, blood drives, CROP Walk, to name a few
- A partnership with Riverside Elementary School to provide school supplies, books, and financial support
- Special Musical Performances
- Support of local charitable organizations including Baldwin House, Haven, Clothe-a-Child, HOPE Shelter, Blessings in a Backpack, Good Samaritan Mission, Waterford Coalition for Youth, and more.
- Support of community organizations including Lakeland Players and Tuesday Musicale, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and a number of recovery groups.
