Hope Shelter Seats & Feets In the past, Central Church has prepared and served meals at Hope Shelter.  Since the start of the COVID-19 surge, Oakland County has been providing dinners for the shelter, and Baldwin Center and a local soup kitchen are helping provide lunches. Central is Hosting at Hope Shelter

Saturday, June 1st, Sunday, June 2nd, and Monday, June 3rd Join us as we host at HOPE Shelter in Pontiac. Volunteers are needed to prepare a hot meal at Central, transport it to HOPE Shelter, serve guests and clean up. Volunteers are also needed to help with guest intake, monitor the shower schedule and distribute hygiene items to guests. Volunteers must be 18 years or older. Volunteer Opportunities in 2019

In November and December of 2018 we evaluated the neighborhoods around Central church to determine the key profiles of individuals and families in our neighborhood. One of the characteristics of people in our area is that they are looking for local volunteer opportunities. In response to this information Central is planning missions in 2019 to local non-profit organizations. Our plan is to build ongoing partnership relationships with these groups, and to open these opportunities up to people from our local…

Friday September 21st, Saturday September 22nd and Monday, September 24th Central Church has a 15 year tradition serving the homeless at Hope Adult Shelter in Pontiac. Volunteers are needed to prepare a hot meal at Central, transport it to HOPE Shelter, serve guests and clean up.
