VBS 2019
Monday, June 24th – Friday, June 28th, 9am – Noon To Mars and Beyond! During VBS kids will explore the wonders of God’s power at work within themselves and others. From their very own outpost on Mars, they’ll blast off to distant planets on exciting missions. The adventure will be out-of-this-world fun, and include learning and timeless Bible stories that will inspire kids to give glory to God! Potluck to Benefit Liberia Missions
Join us for an old-fashioned potluck on February 17th to support our mission work in Liberia. Since Jessica began our relationship with the C.W. Duncan school with a donation of $105 in 2009 Central has given $31,305 dollars for scholarships for students. And since we created the Partnership in Ministry with St. Mark UMC in 2013 we have sent $24,760 for reconstruction of their church building. Volunteer Opportunities in 2019
In November and December of 2018 we evaluated the neighborhoods around Central church to determine the key profiles of individuals and families in our neighborhood. One of the characteristics of people in our area is that they are looking for local volunteer opportunities. In response to this information Central is planning missions in 2019 to local non-profit organizations. Our plan is to build ongoing partnership relationships with these groups, and to open these opportunities up to people from our local…
