Central is Hosting at HOPE Shelter
Friday September 21st, Saturday September 22nd and Monday, September 24th Central Church has a 15 year tradition serving the homeless at Hope Adult Shelter in Pontiac. Volunteers are needed to prepare a hot meal at Central, transport it to HOPE Shelter, serve guests and clean up. Volunteers are also needed to help with guest intake, monitor the shower schedule and distribute hygiene items to guests. Worship Arts Open House
Fall is around the corner and that means it time for fall programming at Central Church to ramp up! We have so many great things going on that it’s sometimes hard to know where to get involved. Rally Day 2018
Welcome “Back to Church” Join us on Sunday, September 9th at 10am for our annual Rally Day Celebration. This will be a special day as we celebrate Rev. Cora’s installation as Central’s Director of Lifelong Faith Formation. We will have a special reception after service for Rev. Cora. Volunteers Needed for Riverside Meet & Greet
August 29th, 4 pm – 6 pm Central will be participating this year in a “meet & greet” for Riverside Elementary School families (formerly the Riverside Ice Cream Social). As in previous years, we will be collecting new and gently used children’s books to allow students to select 1-2 books to add to their home library.
