UMCOR Early Response Team (ERT) Training
The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is in the process of building up its Early Preparedness/Disaster Response ministry. Central UMC will be participating in this important ministry by hosting training/certification sessions. Our first session was held on Saturday, January 20th 2018 was attended by ten individuals. Hurricane Relief
Central United Methodist Church is a collection site for UMCOR flood bucket and hygiene kit supplies for hurricane relief. The supplies will be sent to the UMCOR Midwest Mission Distribution Center for assembly. Once assembled, the kits will then be shipped to Texas and Florida to help victims of hurricanes Harvey and Irma. UMCOR is also taking donations to assist with disaster relief.
