James the Less and Judas (Not Iscariot) are the “forgotten followers” of Jesus the Christ. They represent the many of us who do not occupy a place of prominence in the work of God’s kingdom. Other than being listed as Disciples, James the Less and Judas are not mentioned other than when Judas asked Jesus a question at the Last Supper. “Lord, how is it that you will reveal yourself to us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered Judas, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Whoever does not love me does not keep my words; and the word that you hear is not mine, but is from the Father who sent me.” The question is how will we open ourselves to Jesus so that he will make his home with us? Based on John 14:11-27.
