You may have witnessed a minor functionary introducing a major functionary, who will then introduce the world-renowned and much-ballyhooed expert on whatever it is that he or she is an expert. Listening to an introduction can be tedious, especially if it’s long and includes too much information. More problematic, however, is the scenario in which you are asked to introduce the keynote speaker! Like the apostle John in our text for today, how would you go about introducing Jesus, our Lord and Savior? What do we know about Jesus, and what do people need to know about Jesus?
