Central United Methodist Church Summer Concert Series

Through a generous memorial donation, Central UMC is honored to offer the Marv and Mary Wilson Memorial Concert Series to the southeast Michigan area. The series—a first for Central—will feature highly-acclaimed musicians from metro Detroit. The concerts vary widely in musical style and format, so there is sure to be something for everyone.

The Langsford Men’s Chorus
Sunday, June 23rd at 3pm

With a generous repertoire of songs, you will be mesmerized by the vocal blending and range of these amazingly talented gentlemen.

Matt Ball: The Boogie-Woogie Kid
Sunday, July 28th at 3pm

Matt performs a family-friendly program of New Orleans boogie, blues, swing and song favorites from the 20s, 30s and 40s.

Nuevo Jazz Detroit: Cool Latin Vibe
Sunday, August 25th at 3pm

The rhythms of Brazil, Cuba, Mexico and Argentina blend with straight-ahead jazz in classic and new songs that bring you the cool side of Latin Jazz.

Concerts will be held at Central United Methodist Church, located at 3882 Highland Rd., Waterford MI 48328. Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students. Group ticket pricing is also available.
