Each year as we sing Silent Night, Holy Night, we sing “Son of God, love’s pure light.” Certainly, the Christ child is the greatest expression of God’s gentle, tender love for the world which is expressed later in John’s Gospel through John 3:16. As we conclude our Advent Series of Messages, we will explore the savoring of God’s love that goes well beyond these four weeks of preparation for and celebration of Jesus’ birth.
