Physical Touch and Gifts

The final in our series of messages centered on the love languages of Physical Touch and Gifts from Dr. Gary Chapman’s book, The Five Love Languages. Physical touch is so important that God became flesh through the birth of Jesus. Christ is the physical incarnation of God on earth, and that incarnation offered the gift of healing. It was the hands of Jesus that reached out to heal the blind, the lame, and the diseased. As we speak of God coming to earth in the form of Jesus it is appropriate to speak of these love languages and to embrace the fact that we are now the physical manifestation of Christ on earth today.
