Hurricane relief at Waterford Central UMC

Hurricane Florence Relief

Central United Methodist Church will again be a collection site for supplies for UMCOR hygiene kits for hurricane relief. The supplies will be sent to the UMCOR Midwest Mission Distribution Center for assembly. Once assembled, the kits will then be shipped out to help victims of hurricane Florence. Waterford Area CROP Walk

2018 Waterford Area Crop Walk

This year’s CROP Walk will be on Sunday, October 7th at 2pm; registration begins at 1:30pm. You can participate by gathering sponsors and walking one of the designed routes for either five miles, three miles or one mile. Central is Hosting at HOPE Shelter

Friday September 21st, Saturday September 22nd and Monday, September 24th Central Church has a 15 year tradition serving the homeless at Hope Adult Shelter in Pontiac. Volunteers are needed to prepare a hot meal at Central, transport it to HOPE Shelter, serve guests and clean up.
