Central Dancers
All-Age Dance Group
Rehearses Thursdays 4:30pm – 5pm, fall through spring
Dance is one of the most basic ways humans express feelings and faith through body movement. The purpose of liturgical dance is to deepen and focus the worship experience for both the dancer and the congregation. Central’s liturgical dance group performs expressively to popular contemporary worship music.
The group welcomes all levels of dance, including those with no experience, and provides an accepting environment for the development of dance skills and group interaction.
The Central Dancers will help youth become comfortable performing in front of a live audience, as the group performs during worship every 6-8 weeks from September through June.
