A service of remembrance and encouragement

Leave your pain, loss and discouragement at the altar in readiness to find peace this Christmas season. Through the simple lighting of candles, we will acknowledge the sorrow of the loved one who has passed, the employment that has been lost or remains elusive, the change in family dynamic that has altered relationships, or any other of life’s many challenges. All are welcome regardless of religious affiliation or belief.

An inter-generational, family-friendly “candlelight” Christmas service

Join us for an awesome Christmas for the whole family. Ideal for families with kids who may not be able to sit through a traditional candlelight service.

Hear the Christmas story through beloved Scripture. Sing your favorite carols with Waterford Central’s Chancel Choir. Connect with God and others as we celebrate the birth of Christ. The service features:

• Music by Waterford Central’s organist, played on a magnificent pipe organ
• Liturgical dance presented by Waterford Central’s Reunion Dancers
• Reading of beloved Christmas Scripture
• Favorite Christmas hymns and carols sung with and by Central’s Chancel Choir
• The lighting of candles and the singing of Silent Night
