Waterford Central United Methodist Church
Organist/Accompanist (Part Time 5-10 hours per week)
About Us
Waterford Central United Methodist Church seeks to change the world with the love of Christ; that’s our Mission Statement! We believe that God is love and that love is extended to us before we even know that God exists. We call that undeserved loved “grace.” That means that we actively support one another and have outreach into the community through a variety of avenues.
The United Methodist denomination is marked by this wonderful understanding of God’s love and grace and is a “Connectional Church.” “Connectional” means that all United Methodist Churches are connected in mission and ministry around the world with missionaries, colleges, children’s homes, and hospitals. The Mission Statement of the United Methodist denomination is “Making disciples for the transformation of the world.”
About Our Music Department
The CUMC Music Department consists of a combination of one vocal choir, one bell choir and a dance ensemble. In addition to our Casavant organ, the excellent acoustics of our sanctuary are accompanied by an integrated state of the art lighting and a/v system which we use for online streaming and in-person worship.
