Support Groups

Narcotics Anonymous is a nonprofit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean.

This is a 12-step program that is hosted at Central UMC during the following times:
Thursdays at 8:00 pm
Fridays at 7:30 pm
Saturdays at 7:00 pm
Room 20 (back of the building, lower level)

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

This is a 12-step program that is hosted at Central UMC during the following times:
Mondays at 11:00 am
Wednesdays at 6:00 pm
Room 20 (back of the building, lower level)

The Nar-Anon Family Group is primarily for those who know or has known a feeling of desperation concerning the addiction problem of someone very near to you. We have traveled that unhappy road too and found the answer with serenity and peace of mind.

The Food Addiction Support Group helps with eating addiction which is a behavioral addiction that is characterized by the compulsive consumption of palatable (e.g., high-fat and high-sugar) foods. The types of food which markedly activate the reward system in humans and other animals – despite adverse consequences.
