Baptism

Baptism

Baptism is a sacrament. In a sacrament, God uses common elements – in this case, water – as means or vehicle of divine grace. Baptism is administered by the church (as the Body of Christ). It is an act of God through the grace of Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit.

People of any age can be baptized. Quite often, those who were not baptized during infancy elect to become baptized as youth or adults. The only requirement is a genuine desire to recognize Christ’s saving grace and commit your life to his teachings and principles.
