Fellowship

Fellowship

Central offers many opportunities to be part of a church family and grow not only in faith but also in friendship.

Wednesday Morning Fix-It Crew

A men’s ministry that does odd jobs around the Church.

PrimeTime Ministry

The PrimeTime group hosts bi-monthly events open to all. Events include movie afternoons, music programs, and sharing events like our recent Hobby Day that bring people together and give everyone a chance to get to know one another. Watch our upcoming events page for opportunities to connect.

Central Cinema

First Saturday of each month at 6:00pm, September – June
A free movie night for youth and adults. The cinema is set in the comfort of the Parlor on a widescreen TV. The movies range from comedies to dramas, always with a question and a brief conversation to unpack the faith and the insight of the storyline. Bring the popcorn and have some fun. Open to the community.

Gentle Chair Exercise

Monday mornings from 10:30–11:30 am
Easy exercise for older adults. Bring your water and a mat or blanket if you’d like. Open to the community.

Central Cafe

Thursday evening dinner is served 5:15 – 6:30 pm
It’s a great place to gather for all of the Church family and is convenient for families in the various worship arts and study programs that meet on Thursday evenings. Kitchen volunteers are always needed and eat for free! If you would like to volunteer in the kitchen please contact the church office at (248) 681-0040. There is a nominal fee for dinner. Central Cafe is closed when Waterford schools are not in session.

Memorial Gardeners

Clean-up days in Spring and Fall
Love to garden? Loving gardeners keep Central’s Memorial Garden in shape, opening the garden in spring and prepping it for the winter in fall. All gardening skill levels are welcome to join the team as we spend time caring for God’s creation.

Men’s Softball Team

Monday Evenings In the Summer
Get together with friends for a game of softball. The team plays in a faith league with other churches in the Waterford and Clarkston areas. No special skill or experience is needed. Just come and have fun. Fans are encouraged to come to the games as well. It’s a great family activity.

To get involved or volunteer with any of these ministries, contact the Church Office at (248) 681-0040.
