Our Ministry in Liberia
We have many programs in which we are working to help our Liberia partners. Some of those projects include: the C.W.Duncan School, Wells for Liberia, St. Mark UMC-Kakata pastor support, and St. Mark UMC-Kakata building fund.
Do you usually eat out after church?
Why not do it with your Waterford
Central family? You are invited to join
us in Fellowship Hall for lunch quarterly
to dine with your church family. Cost
is a free will offering placed in a basket
on your table.
Proceeds from the Liberia Support
Luncheons will go to the several
projects we have in Liberia. We have been blessed. Let us be
a blessing for the world.
Our Work in Liberia
We are working long-distance with the clergy in Liberia on these projects and have seen the fruit of our labor!
Jessica Arnold started a scholarship program for the students at C.W. Duncan School is in Clara Town, Monrovia, Liberia. There are currently 246 students enrolled. The C.W. School Mission Project is raising money and support for the students and school.
We have also raised funds to build wells in Liberia, you cannot imagine the impact that this has on those who need clean water! This is an ongoing project as it costs around $2000 to build a well to change the lives of whole villages!
Members of Central UMC went on a volunteer mission trip in March 2013, to Margibi, Liberia. They recorded some of their trip and we have uploaded it to our Youtube channel!
